What made you apply to Supersizer?

With my sights set on landing the next big returnable series, I applied to SuperSizer because I was keen to expand my network, build on relationships with commissioners, receive guidance on team management, find new ways to generate ideas of scale and develop my writing and pitching style.

What was your biggest takeaway?

It’s difficult to narrow it down to one thing, but my biggest takeaway was connecting with fellow developers and the support we continue to give each other. The pitching, generating ideas and action learning sessions were also incredibly useful and continue to influence my approach to development.

How has SuperSizer helped you with your career?

The insights, tools and strategies provided throughout the course have not only improved my development skills but have made the team at Firecracker more focused, productive, and efficient. SuperSizer gave me the opportunity to pitch to Ben Frow which resulted in Firecracker receiving £2,000 development funding.

What advice would you give to someone applying to SuperSizer?

SuperSizer is the therapy that every development exec needs. There is so much to gain from learning alongside fellow developers in a fun, supportive and trusting environment. My advice is to not let this opportunity pass you by.
