RESET FAQS
Can I select more than one Intern role to apply for?
The application form allows you to select all of the Intern roles that you are interested in. You only need to complete one application form. This allows you to submit an application for as many of the intern roles that you wish to.
Do I need to have been unemployed/made redundant for a certain length of time?
No, there is no set time period. Applicants can be currently not working (having been made unemployed or redundant, with their employer citing this to be as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic or the EU Exit), or in a temporary job that does not utilise their skillset fully.
Can I apply if my employment contract is not temporary?
Yes, if you are currently underemployed and have the skills for a career elsewhere then you are eligible to apply.
Do I need to have any previous experience (or qualifications) in Animation, VFX or Games?
Not at all. There is no requirement for applicants to have previous experience or qualifications in these sectors to be eligible to apply for a RESET internship. The companies are specifically looking for people who have worked in other industries/ sectors that have the skills they are looking for. However a passion and interest for Animation, VFX and Games is definitely a bonus.
Is there an upper age limit?
No, there is no upper age limit for RESET.
How/When will the companies select their Intern/s?
Each company will shortlist candidates from the applications submitted. They will contact candidates to arrange interview. These interviews will take place (most likely online via Zoom) throughout December. With the final successful Interns being selected before Christmas. Depending on the selections you made on the application (sectors & locations you wanted to submit an application to) it is very possible that you may be interviewed by more than one company.
What if I am offered a place by more than one company?
If you are lucky enough to be selected as an intern by more than one company, we will contact you to take your preference into consideration.
