TRC appoints new Deputy Managing Director

Beverley McMillan, former Head of Programmes at Indielab, has been appointed as TRC’s Deputy Managing Director.

Following Joint MD Margaret Scott’s retirement earlier this year, Glasgow-based training provider TRC welcomes Beverley McMillan as part of their team, while Claire Scally continues as sole Managing Director.

With over 20 years of experience working in the screen sector, Beverley McMillan has an extensive background in skills development, marketing, project management, and delivery of events for the television, film, and games sectors. Before joining TRC, Beverley was Head of Programmes at Indielab, with a focus on managing their growth accelerators and export programmes across the Nations and Regions. Prior to that, she was responsible for developing the learning, inclusion, and new talent strategy for BAFTA Scotland.

As the new Deputy Managing Director, Beverley will be overseeing the successful delivery of a range of training programmes, including Series Producer Programme, ScreenSkills’ highly regarded programme for Producers/Directors aiming to transition into Series Producers or Showrunners which is currently open for applications.
