About Reset
Do you have a passion for animation, VFX and games? Are you interested in starting an exciting career in the Animation, Visual Effects (VFX) and Games sectors? Then Reset may be your way in!
Reset is a paid 8-month traineeship aimed at new entrants with lots of enthusiasm and transferable skills.
If you are just starting out in this sector or looking to reset your career, Reset offers a structured path into the industry, offering invaluable hands-on experience working in a fully paid role (Real Living Wage) in a Scottish Animation/ VFX/ Games company alongside focused career and personal development training.
Reset is funded by Screen Scotland.

Online Career Change/Personal Development Training
We offer access to FREE online training modules to all applicants to the Reset programme.
These training sessions have been created to specifically aid and support you in the initial phase of career change. These bitesize video lessons, with additional resources and materials will be shared with all who attend the Reset info event or make an application to the programme.

If you’ve already had more than six months continuous paid employment in the Animation, VFX or Games industry, you may be over-qualified for the scheme.
There are a wide range of roles available, supporting the studio and productions within the various Animation, VFX and Games companies. More details on the types of roles that may be offered are in the Reset – Trainee Info Pack
