Glasgow-based training provider TRC has announced the appointment of Kevin Blacoe, Channel 4’s Head of Partnerships & Skills as a new board member.
Kevin leads 4Skills, Channel 4’s commitment to skills, training and development and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to support TRC’s commitment to developing creative talent across the Nations & Regions.
TRC continues to go from strength to strength, training over 140 delegates from the Nations and Regions in 2023/2024, delivered by experts in the broadcasting, film and VFX sectors.
The past year has marked significant growth for TRC, who offer a slate of professional development programmes for mid and senior level professionals, new entrants traineeships and company training in response to sector demand.
Most recently TRC announced the return of Factual Fast Track Scotland and Northern Ireland, a development programme designed to accelerate the careers of factual producers through paid placements, commissioning insights, training opportunities and leading industry mentors.
