TRC goes global next week as we jet off to Canada with the Cross Creative group. Our jam-packed meeting schedule is finalised, the bags are packed and we’re ready to showcase Scotland’s digital media talent to the world.
The Cross Creative group (eight senior creative and technical professionals from a variety of Scottish digital organisations) will be spending a week in the famous Toronto-Waterloo Region Corridor, one of the fastest-growing innovation hubs in the world. During their time in Toronto, the Cross Creative group will be meeting with a number of the city’s best and brightest companies, tech and creative professionals, successful start-ups, CEOs, serial entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
With a packed schedule of over 20 meetings, the group will benefit from the experience and expertise of companies including: CISCO, Freshbooks, MaRS, Impossible Things, DMZ, Shopify, TFO Studios, Eighty-Eight, 21 Toys, Centre Social Innovation, One Method and Hockeystick. We’ll have more than 20 meetings over the course of the 5 day trip, so there’ll be plenty of learnings to bring back to Scotland!
The international business trip is the final stage of a six-month training and programme for digital leaders in Scotland. We’ve had training on effective leadership, negotiation masterclasses, creative problem solving and more. Find out more about Cross Creative or meet the delegates who’ll be flying the flag for Scotland this week.
