The deadline for applications was Monday 30th September, 5pm. If you have applied to SuperSizing Global Sales, a member of our team will be in touch in due course to let you know the outcome of your application.
SuperSizing Global Sales is TRC’s latest creative development programme for indies based in Northern Ireland.
This innovative initiative builds on the success of our Supersizing Development Teams programme, helping you take your ideas beyond the local/UK market and aim for ambitious global sales success.
SuperSizing Global Sales equips your full development team with the tools and insights to think bigger, bolder, and more creatively. With a focus on global opportunities, this programme provides a structured framework that enhances your team’s creativity and scales up ideas for international markets.
Alongside the group training, participant companies will benefit from one-to-one consultancy, providing personalised guidance and support to navigate the global marketplace effectively and formulate a bespoke sales strategy. Following which, one Development Executive from each company will also have the opportunity to attend Content London, and one other market, as agreed through their one-to-one consultancy.
At a time when the production landscape is shifting, now is the perfect moment to reimagine the creative process, build stronger ideas, and establish key relationships with global distributors and sales agents.
This programme is funded by Northern Ireland Screen.
SuperSizing Global Sales will grow the skills and ambitions of the entire development team through a series of intensive group training sessions, addressing the following key areas:
- Creative Leadership: the qualities and principles needed to lead great creative teams
- Creative Facilitation: developing new and innovative ways of working to get the best ideas and create a network of skilled facilitators that can work across the whole company
- Pitching: working with your whole development team on the art of the perfect pitch and developing a compelling story to help you sell your ideas
- Communication and Ideation: how to develop ideas across your team in a constructive and collaborative way to give and receive feedback and the importance of developing resilience across the whole team.
- Distribution and Sales: preparing for markets and maximising global reach by focussing on areas such as pre-sales, licensing deals, co-production and international distribution.
Alongside the training activities, a Development Executive from each team will then receive one-to-one consultancy and attend relevant market trips to sell their slate.
SuperSizing Global Sales will run from Tuesday15th October till early February 2025 approximately. The training sessions will be held both online and in-person.
Each company will receive:

Jane Rogerson, Red Sky Productions, who participated in SuperSizing Development Teams in Scotland.
“What I’ve found most valuable is the time and space for us as a team to share challenges, experiences and personal time away from the day to day. As a result, we’re even more open and trusting of each other than we were. This course has reinforced that investment into our core team makes all the difference, it’s a tough market and tough times but taking part in SuperSizing Development Teams has made our team more valuable than ever.”
