We are delighted to announce our Autumn/Winter schedule for 2020.
We know it’s been a difficult time for everyone so we have created a programme of courses to give you the tools to navigate through the current crisis and beyond.
From managing company morale to landing that crucial deal through Zoom, we have created these courses with you in mind.
Due to the ongoing challenges faced by the industry, we are delivering these courses completely free of charge to the user. This would not be possible without the continuous support of our funders: Screen Scotland, BBC Nations and Regions and Channel 4.
TRC Shorts is a series of online interactive training sessions. The first set of TRC Shorts will focus on Business Affairs.
Our trainer for this series is Gwenda Carnie, an experienced lawyer who spent ten years at BBC Wales as Senior Legal and Business Affairs Manager. Most recently, Gwenda was legal counsel and commercial advisor for the Flame Media Group, and now runs her own training and business affairs advisory consultancy.
We are delighted announce the following TRC Shorts: COVID Checklist, Doing the Deal (All About Contracts), Negotiation Skills, Copyright and Rights Clearance in the TV industry, Production Agreements, A Walkaround Co-Pro Agreements, A Walkaround TV Distribution Agreements and Scripted Development.
To find out more and sign-up to be the first to know when applications open for each session, visit TRC Shorts.
