Lee brings a wealth of experience to the TRC board, including seven years at the helm of one of Scotland’s most recognised creative agencies, Wire, working across clients including BAFTA Scotland, Tennent’s Lager and ScotRail.
Joint Managing Directors of TRCmedia, Claire Scally and Margaret Scott, said:
“Lee is an excellent addition to the TRC board, bringing a wealth of both business expertise and creative insight, demonstrated daily through the hugely successful Wire.”
“Encouraging business leaders and equipping them with the training and development necessary to achieve their full potential is at the heart of what we do at TRC. What Lee has accomplished with Wire in only seven years, growing from a two person business with her co-founder Pam Scobbie to a team of 22 working across two cities is really inspiring.”
Lee Beattie, co-founder and Strategy and Culture Director of Wire, added:
“Training and development is something that’s hugely important to us at Wire. We invest in our team and we’re focused on inspiring them and supporting their learning – whether that’s through dedicated training or using their cultural allowance fund. I’ve admired the work that TRC deliver for some time, so I’m excited about collaborating with the team and fellow board members to strengthen existing training and contributing to future plans.”
2018 marks TRCmedia’s 20th anniversary, having provided high-end training to TV and digital businesses since our inception in 1998. Speaking of the milestone, TRC’s managing directors Margaret Scott and Claire Scally said: “We have big plans for our birthday celebrations in Summer and are enjoying working with Lee and the rest of the board on the next exciting phase of TRC.”
