On July 2nd 2024, we hosted our second Commissioner Event of the year with Dwayne Eaton, Commissioning Editor for Arts and Entertainment at Sky.
During this insightful session, Dwayne discussed his path into TV commissioning and current role across Sky Max and Sky Arts, including recent shows such as The Russell Howard Hour, Fantasy Football League and The Overlap On Tour.
He highlighted Sky’s commitment to making arts accessible and focus on providing high quality talent-first entertainment. Following this, he provided our attending indies with tips on how to best pitch their ideas and answered audience questions.
