RAMY EL-BERGAMY

Ramy is a Commissioning Executive in Daytime where he looks after some of Channel 4’s biggest brands such as A Place in the Sun and Four in a Bed. He also takes pitches for new formats and ideas from companies and producers all over the UK that could work in the space. Prior to this, he was the On Screen Diversity Executive at Channel 4. His focus was on delivering on the commitments in Channel 4’s 360˚ Diversity Charter. He worked in partnership with Commissioning at C4, the independent sector and talent to ensure the best people were seen onscreen from the widest possible pool. He also oversaw Channel 4’s Onscreen Year of Disability, helping double disabled representation in over 20 of Channel 4’s biggest shows.

Prior to joining Channel 4, Ramy worked in the independent sector for 10 years. He has experience working across a broad range of programmes and genres, and most recent credits of his time in the sector include hit shows such as Big Brother and The Voice
