Speaking about failure on International Women’s Day
This year TRC turns 20! Over two decades we’ve worked with some of the brightest minds in Scotland’s creative media sector, helping individuals and their companies to embrace risk, change, competition and innovation. One of the biggest blocks to putting brave plans in place is the fear of failing. Great ideas have died, and opportunities missed because of a reluctance to accept failure as a positive experience. We want to do our bit to change that.
So, on International Women’s Day we asked 10 successful women working in the creative industries to share a story about failure. We didn’t want Powerpoint presentations, philosophies or business pitches, but honest stories told from the heart. We laughed, we cried and raised a glass to embracing our failures.
