We are excited to announce our latest Creative Breakfast on 28th November, when we shall be joined by Louise Thornton in her newly appointed role of Commissioning Executive for Digital, Social and Youth at BBC Scotland.
Louise has recently been appointed to this role after two years of working as a senior producer for BBC Scotland’s social media initiative The Social, which she co-created. Louise has a PhD in mobile video communications and has worked at the BBC since 2007, in a range of roles including senior multiplatform producer and development producer.
Come along on Tuesday 28th November to hear Louise discuss the opportunities for content commissioning with Digital, Social and Youth. Louise will be discussing her priorities: focus on new talent, younger skewing formats for the channel and digital first commissioning.
